Get Your Answers Consult (GYAC) is a career coaching and HR consulting firm based in Accra, Ghana. This notice explains how we handle your personal information.
What we collect
- Details you give us: your name, email, phone number and the answers you write when you book a consultation, apply to a cohort, register for an event, send an enquiry or join the newsletter.
- Payment records: that a payment was made and its reference. Card and mobile money details are handled by our payment partners and are never stored by us.
- Documents you upload: such as a CV, only when you choose to send one.
- Website use: basic technical data and, only if you accept, analytics. See our cookie policy.
Why we use it
- To deliver the service you asked for, such as a booking, a place in a cohort or an event ticket.
- To reply to your questions and send reminders and receipts.
- To send newsletters, only if you subscribed. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To improve the website and our programmes.
Who can see it
Our team sees what it needs to do its work. We share data only with trusted providers who help us run the service, such as email, payment, hosting and, if you accept analytics, measurement tools. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires, then delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) you may ask to see, correct or delete your information, and you may object to marketing at any time. Write to us through the contact page and we will respond.
Changes
We will update this page if our practice changes.
